01/05/2010 – ThetaOptions Margin Portfolio - United Airlines Covered Short Initiated
United Airlines has went UP nearly another 10% this morning @ 13.75. With less than TWO weeks until JAN’s Option Expiration (OpEx), we decided to take out a Covered Short position on them.
Filled Order:
Sell To Open: (10) JAN10 UAUA 15 Covered PUT – 15.30 Credit
Position: Margin is high, but we took in $1530 per contract…our goal is to take $200 profit in 3-5 days
GTC Order:
Buy To Close: (10) JAN10 UAUA 15 Covered PUT – 15.10 debit
