03/09/2010 – ThetaOptions Margin Portfolio – UAUA June Short Adjusted
What we can we say, an OLD Fashion business model has discovered the cure for cancer while their passengers climb aboard. Well, at least that’s how the stock is reacting these days. UAUA is up over 100% in 3 months & is UP 20% in the past 3 weeks, most of that gain has come in the past few days. We have no clue whether or not the stock will touch 100 by JUNE or not, but we’re going to adjust the JUNE position before it’s too late.

02/18/2010 – ThetaOptions Margin Portfolio – Closed Trade – Profit $350
Ok, that was fun. We bought back the last lot of our naked callers this morning and successfully shorted UAUA again. That’s THREE successful missions on shorting them over the past four months. Our profit this round was $350, and we made some adjustments by leaving our original short strike while the stock was rising during the madness. We’ll that was quicker than we expected. Our combo order filled around noon today. So we booked a $200 profit in 24 hours!

Wow, what a nice pullback this afternoon on the stock. Mission accomplished! There is no sense waiting until opEx day to collect the last $100; not with 1000 shares shorted!
Stock: Cover 1000 shares of UAUA @ 6.82
Buy to Close: (10) 9 NOV Puts – $2.30 credit
One Day Profit: $200
Note: The covered shares & PUT buyback were executed within seconds of each other!
